1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Voca. By downloading or using the App, you agree to the terms detailed below. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the App.
2. Service Description
Voca is a voice thought management app. It allows you to record voice notes, transcribe them, organize them into lists and tasks, and sync with your device calendar. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
3. Registration and Account
Some features require creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining your login credentials and for all activity under your account. The minimum age to use the App is 13 years.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Voca offers monthly and annual paid subscriptions. The first 10 recordings and a trial week are free of charge. After the trial, access to Premium features requires a paid subscription. Billing is handled through Apple App Store or Google Play, subject to their cancellation policies. Refunds are generally not available for elapsed periods unless otherwise stated.
5. Permitted and Prohibited Use
Permitted: personal use, legitimate business use, educational purposes. Prohibited: distributing harmful or illegal content; infringing copyrights; attempting to hack, reverse engineer, or modify the App; using it for spam; activity that may damage our infrastructure.
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights relating to the App, its design, and code logic belong to Voca. You retain rights to content you create (recordings, notes). You grant us a limited license to process this content to provide the service.
7. AI and Accuracy
Voca uses artificial intelligence for transcription and content organization. Transcriptions may contain errors. We are responsible for providing the service but do not guarantee full accuracy of AI outputs. Do not rely on outputs for critical medical, legal, or financial needs without independent verification.
8. Limitation of Liability
Voca is provided 'as is'. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App, including data loss. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last three months.
9. Termination and Cancellation
You may cancel your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
